Description of PART 2 of Watercolor Field Notebook/Journal Class

Must complete Watercolor Field Notebook/Journal class before taking this class.

This Class will be held at Spiritual Life Society, Yoga on Main, 1 Main Street, Hudson Ohio 44236

6 Saturdays 10:00- 12:00pm, Starting July 18th – August 22nd

$150.00   Returning Students bring your paint supplies from Level One, and your notebook from Watercolor Field Notebook/Journal part 1, all other supplies will be provided

You MUST have completed Watercolor Field Notebook/Journal Class Part 1 to take this class.

Funto Painting Sets will also be available first day of classes for purchase. ($30.00)

Description:

Watercolor Field Notebook Classes: Skill-Building in a Supportive Creative Space.

These weekly watercolor classes are thoughtfully designed for painters who have completed Watercolor Level 1 and Part 1 of the Field Notebook Class, offering a welcoming environment where students can learn, explore, and continue to grow. Each session emphasizes skill development, creative confidence, and self-care, making the class as restorative as it is educational. A live botanical specimen will be featured each week with a variety of techniques to watercolor capture in your notebook.

Students will learn about the historical contributions of specific Historically Significant Field Journal Artists have made to both the art and science worlds. You will look at other watercolor notebook layouts and create the organization of your entries based on your interests. You will be provided with scientific data about the subject matter and decide how much you want to preserve with your painting.

Classes foster a safe, supportive, and encouraging atmosphere, ideal for connecting with others who value creativity as a meaningful and healthy outlet. Through guided demonstrations, hands-on practice, and individualized feedback, students will build both technical proficiency and artistic confidence.
